My fuse keeps popping help!!
Yesterday while riding i noticed that my turn signals, horn, display lights and tail light stops working. I was stumped until my friend figured out that it was the 15a fuse. I switched it and everything worked fine. Then I let my friend use the bike and on his ride it happened again so he stopped and fitted a 25a in the 15 spot and I know its wrong but it works for now. Can someone steer me to the right direction here cause I don't know whats going on.
Put a 15a fuse back in an activate each individually (brake / horn / turn signals) if the fuse doesn't blow then it's not the individual accessory. It'll mean you have a short somewhere in the line. Prolly an intermittent one that shorts out due to vibration / movement.
That'll make isolating it a real bytch.

Still have the OEM turn signals or have they been replaced? If it's whenever you activate the right turn signal, I'd check the connections on the front and aft r turn signals. Make sure one isn't wired backwards / has poor connection.
You can try and further isolate it by disconnecting one of them and hitting the turn signal. If the fuse blows with one of them and not the other, then you know which is causing it. If it blows on both turn signals, I'd guess it's the switch itself

Jinxing you lol now none of them work so it's def the signals. I had to go to Reading today and now I'm a lil beat so I'm not going to mess with them. Tomorrow after work I'll see what's going on and then let you guys know the results. Thanks for the help by the way.
Alright! now my signals work, well sort of. When I turn the ignition they light up, both of them. But when I click over to the right turn signal the left one lights up, it doesn't blink, it just lights up and it's the same for the opposite end. Then when I click the signal button ( like to turn it off) they both light up fml!! M friend's dad suggested that it could be the relay, which makes sense but I don't know where it's located.
Okay I found it! and it was the relay. It smelled like something burned out in it so I'm guessing it's done for. I'm supposed to go pick up a Yoshi slip on from this guy parting out his bike this weekend so I guess I'll see if he has one for like 5 bucks or something
gotta luv a bargain!! thanks guys for the help.
