First thing, check the r/r (regulator/rectifier) and it's connector.
If any of it looks heat- damaged, melted/warped, burnt, etc.,
that's probably the main source of your problems.
However, that said...
Here's a generic response to most electrical issues, if you need to go further...
To diagnose electrical issues, you should always start with a sound battery.
So don't skip this step. After you assure that, you can move on.
If the battery is more than about 4-5 years old, it can be an issue.
You can pull it and take to a parts house, most do a free load test/diagnostic.
