more electric problems
Yesterday I rode to work my bike died at stop sign and took three tries to start finally starts but now it keeps blowing the fuse for my cluster none of the gauges are working or indicators? Help
First thing, check the r/r (regulator/rectifier) and it's connector.
If any of it looks heat- damaged, melted/warped, burnt, etc.,
that's probably the main source of your problems.
However, that said...
Here's a generic response to most electrical issues, if you need to go further...
To diagnose electrical issues, you should always start with a sound battery.
So don't skip this step. After you assure that, you can move on.
If the battery is more than about 4-5 years old, it can be an issue.
You can pull it and take to a parts house, most do a free load test/diagnostic.
Here are some links to get the big picture and how to diagnose the rest of the system.
