noticed when im riding now my kickstand light is illuminated and the stand is all the way up? im guessing the switch is good as the ignition isnt cut off while its lit???

 

the wiring diagram shows 3 wires. Green, ground goes to spark unit. Green/white go to spark unit when side stand is up. Yellow/black goes to the stand down indicator light in the dash. My guess is the switch may be gunked up or damaged and is keeping the circuit hot to the light. The switch is still functioning to run. Does it kill the motor if the stand is down?

 

if the stand is down all the way yes but the light is on while im riding still

 

The switch circuit to the light is stuck on. could be the switch itself or the wire to the light is grounded out and completing the circuit.

 

washed the bike recently? Last time I washed mine (without fairings) My oil light came on while running - but I realized it wasn't glowing full power. It was actually apparently cross-feeding whenever my neutral light was illuminated. I blew out the connectors @ the bulbs & harness, but no diff. After a day or 2 of drying out, all went back to normal.
