I bumped my kickstand one day and thought I broke the wiring insid. But while I had all the plastics off (painting) I noticed that there are wires coming off the kickstand but they have been cut, and that little group of wirs in front of the battery is where they should have gone cause the same color of wires are there but tide into eachother. I think that is why my light stays on. Anyone know how to wire that back so it will actually work. I have forgot about it to many times and looked like a foo pulling out of a parking lot[8D]

 

what do you mean ur lights stay on? the wires by the kickstand should be for the safety shut off switch (if you start ur bike and try to put it in gear with the kickstand down, the bike shuts off). And whenever you start ur bike ur headlight comes on. Am i missing something....

 

ow well ok, i didnt know that it did all that all i knew is that my light on my gauges stays on and it is anoying. and the wires from the kickstand are cut, and where they should be are like looped togethor.
