I'm new to the forum. Hope I'm in the right place.
I just lucked out in getting a 1991 CBR 600F2. Problem is that it hasn't been run in over 3 years. I bought it as a project bike (1st time as well) and I'm not sure where I should start with it. What I'm looking for are suggestions on some of the first things I should do to try and get the bike running before I really jump into it as a project bike (want to customize it). Disclaimer... I'm not a mechanic and never worked on bikes before but I'm very handy and learn really quick. Any help would be appreciated.

I would get it running first. You'll need to clean the carbs, tank and fuel lines and replace the filter etc. Hopefullly it was put away three years ago without gas in it!
