Okay. So the bikes been running great, I was just riding around town, nothing hard or anything, and all of the sudden I lose power and the engine changes pitch, I thought I might have fouled a plug or something, well so I start heading back to my house, I barely have enough power to make it up a hill at 4k...So I shut the bike off, let it cool down and go to start it back up. It starts reallly rough and then dies, it doesnt want to start at all now, when I do get it started it barely or doesnt respond to the throttle at all. I called a local bike shop and they said just need the carbs clean and maybe check the spark plugs...What do you guys think before I start ripping into something I barely know anything about?

 

Alright one more thing to add...I think I had a retard moment and left the gas turned off...The guy repainted it so it doesnt have the on/off sticker...I left the switch parralel to the ground, is this off? and if thats the reason it wont start anymore why would it have run just fine for the minute or so right after I finished working on it. btw I cleaned the air filter and put about 1/3 can of sea foam in a brand new tank of gas when I was trying to get at the spark plugs(any help anyone) Thanks guys.

after you run the carbs dry it takes alot of cranking to get it fired up again
