Default Is the drain plug on the water pump?

I am draining the radiator fluid today on the F2. I think I located the drain plug and hoping it is what I think it is on the water pump. Am I correct?

dont waste your time stripping it out. take off the lower radiator hose by loosening the clamp around it, much easier and no chance of stripping out something on the water pump which may leak on your leg when riding which is hot.

Just keep filling the rad up with water from the hose or whatever and allow all the gunk to drain out.

There might be a chance it might work. Get proper pressure and gunk shoots out, then again.
