clip on relocation...
ive ran across a post or two that makes reference to relocating the clipons under the triple...anyone ever done this?...any issues with clearence?...bars touching plastics?...thanx...
I've got the bars underneath on my F2. I don't know about plastic interference as my bike's a street fighter. Just imagine if your bars were 2-2.5" lower, would they touch? I'm sure you could check without taking them down below. It's not that hard to do however.
Do they hit ur tank ? How much better is the riding position?
does it mess with your throttle and brake/clutch cables? need adjustment or will it move without major issues.
this kinda caught my curiousity thinkin about movin if it isnt a pain in the rear.

well i just went out to the garage and took a quick looksie.
i think if i moved them down they would hit the gauges when in a full turn or when i needed to lock the bars to the side. but when streetfightered the gauges arent there anymore so it wouldnt be an issue.

The riding position is way better IMHO. It gets you over the front more like a modern sportbike and makes carving a bit easier. It works well for me 'cause I'm 6'5" and I have long arms.
