Hey guys-

Early I posted that I plan to put a shorty supertrapp muffler on my f3. By doing this I will be eliminating the exhaust mount on the right side passenger peg. To further open up the look of the back end I would like to remove the passenger pegs considering I never take passengers.

The problem is that the shock gas canister is on the right side passenger peg. Has anyone ever wanted to move this to elinimate passenger pegs? If so, where did you put it?

 

i was just looking at trying to do the same on my bike so i can put the LEDS in the rear pegs as turn signals so i too would be intersted in that! let me know if you find anything and i will do the same!

i was thinking of making a mount on the subframe so that it would be under my seat/ next to the voltage regulator??

 

Just tuck it up next to the subframe and use hose clamps to secure it. Racers do it all the time. Make sure your line doesnt kink or get pinched anywhere.

 

Yep, I'm doing mine this weekend. I think some radiator type clamps to the subframe will do just fine.

 

when i got my bike it was mounted to the subframe worked fine
