Default Changing Sprockets (links or rechts) ?

Hi im about to change sprockets on my 93' F2
Is the front sprocket Links or Rechts?

& any good tips how to get it of the easyest way?

Rechts.

I put the rear tire on the ground, pull the front brake to prevent movement, and use a big socket wrench with a breaker bar. It is usually torqued pretty high.

Thank you, i was thinking of putting on the new chain. then holding down the rear brake... while cranking on it

Should do the trick now that i know which way it loosens

You could always get an impact wrench and do it that way.

Put it on a rear stand, put it in gear and start removal process. I did mine that way with no issues.

I've seen them so tight that it actually turned the engine over with no weight on the rear (buddy bought a used 954 and the last guy had used red Loctite on the sprocket).

Yea. not the case here... but it was hard getting it of.

I would maybe consider loosening the front sprocket first, then kutting of chain & removing the rear sprocket.
I kut the old chain first then started on the front sprocket, which resulted in the need for putting on the new backsprocket & the new chain to get of the old front one

makes it easyer...
