Thanks
Never had to replace one for a bike, but I know car stems are cheap so hopefully bike stems are too.

I was wondering if i should add those fuel system cleaners to my tank like right before an oil change or something? Would adding the carb cleaning ones affect our bikes? I know its a noob question but im just trying to be safe and not damage anything.

in one of the first pictures...what does that breather hose attach back to? I just noticed mine was disconnected. Is this why my bike won't start?

You guessed it, there is no way to adjust the floats. Just make sure the valve part is nice and clean. Knock the pin out to pull out the needle valve and clean the needle and seat.

Whenever you need it. It's not maintenance, it's a repair, so it falls under "don't fix it if it ain't broke." Doing it before it's necessary is just a waste of a severe amount of time. Some have gone 25k+ without ever needing it. My bike sat for 3 years with no stabilizer, so I needed to do it even though it only had 9500 miles on it.
