burned clutch??
i have been running 95 f3 at the track 1/4....last night after a run i couldnt get the bike to catch N to grab time slip..it was hard to change into any gear...than with clutch in the bike wanted to move..than later it was ok than it was not than it was....had to ajust clutch out...now it seems fine...time for new friction discs with barrnett springs??...i launch at 10k 11k rpm. my head says slam and go but my hands say no.lol so i am probablly burning the clutch by taken to long to release fully..yes/no lower launch rpm suggested ?...................................... best 60 ft .189 best 1/8 7.57 best 1/4 11.76.......almost always 95mph in 1/8 and 115 in 1/4 ...best 96.5 and 118 that is about 30 passes with another 100 launches of practice on the street....beat my bud by .05 couple weeks ago and beat him by .0035 last night...knucklehead lat off and lost
I think your rpms are a little high. Normally 7k is a good launch rpm, your probably letting the clutch out a little too slow to but that probably will "fix" itself if you launch at lower rpms. Not a pro or anything so just my $0.02.
