Yer , my thoughts exactly Dylan ...
ride it - yup
pay that much - nup
If you actually rode them and ran some good miles onto them and something failed ....I could just imagine the repair cost of some of those new fandangled gizmo's
Yu would have to mortgage the bloody house to repair the darn thing prolly!!

There can come a point where things loose there original meaning ...and modern technology quite often becomes the cause of this I believe..

Not for me I'm afraid. I'll wait and see one in the flesh until I pass judgement but with 165 hp coming from a 1200cc motor, what the hell are Honda doing ? This was supposed to be a bike that rivalled the Hayabusa. It wont come anywhere near it. Poeple will buy it though cause its a Honda. I'm with Classic and a few of the others though. There are to many electronic gizmos that mechanics here wont have a clue about until at least the 2nd series.
With any new model there are bound to be bugs in them that will need ironing out. Seems overpriced to at well over 20 grand here. My Blackbird was 16k and would kick this things ****.
Sorry Honda I dont think so.
My two cents.

Based on what I have read, and all the big pubs have a test or two now, I will not be selling off the BlackBird any time soon. I am really looking forward to a couple of our brothers (and sisters) here throwing a leg over one and getting a straight-up comparo. Maybe it exists under another thread. Will look around.
