Default 2010 vfr1200

So what do you guys think about this new VFR.
I've personally always liked the VFRs and almost bought one a few different times. However, this is obviously a different beast than the previous models.
Drive by wire, selectable cylinder deactivation, electronic brakes, shaft drive, etc, etc..
I'm interested to see how this goes down when it finally comes out. I'd imagine the pricetag is gonna **** me off, but I'd love to take it for a spin.
They're saying it will have about 200hp.
It interests me...

The VFR is a sportsbike - without enough grunt to compete with the 1000RR
I don't really know what to make of them, and the new 1200 looks like just another sportsbike - don't ask me to go touring on THAT seat.
Is anyone at Honda listening, or maybe we're not shouting loudly enough ?

Give us the following
400RR great learner bike.
600RR
1000RR
1200F with modern kit

chuck out the Pan-european (lumpy barge)
VFR (confused sportsbike)
and all the rest. We're not that hard to please really........................

A lot of very high tech gadgets in a not so nice box, I know Honda are known for their reliability but I think only time will tell on this one. Maybe a step too far in the middle of a recession with the price tag its gonna have
I have heard good and bad about this bike, hmmm..........(think I'll keep the cane till they make a new one of them)

My old girl has nicer lines, to my eyes anyway, looks more comfy, and will break any speed limit in the country just after hitting second gear! It gets there bloody quick too. Also I've got some idea how it works, and can work on it myself if I feel inclined to. I like the look of the vfr 800s, but this new one does nothing for me. Even if I was loaded and looking for another addition to my dream garage, I still wouldn't want one.

Maybe before spending $$$$$$$$$ on new models manufacturers should actually ask potential customers what they (we) want. I'd get a few people looking around sites like ours, saying "Hello, what do we need to make that could tempt the cash out of you lot?" They'd have to be able to come up with something better than they have lately.
