Default Next Bike VFR1200

I'm in love.

When I get rid of the CB1300 this will be the next ride.

Just hope Honda dont knobble the power.

That's cool as hell, Trips. Although I'm not sure if I agree that people who can't shift a manual should be riding a 200hp bike...lol...
Honda acts like it's a bike made for "anybody". I disagree.

I'm really looking forward to the new VFR. More so than many here. Once it comes out, I'll probably just cringe at the price tag and move on, though...

Just looked up the Specs. Only 127KW and the same suspension adjustment as on the Hurricane (I.E Sweet **** all)

Why cant Honda put fully adjustable suspension on all its bikes. FFS even my mountain bike ad adjustable Compression, rebound & preload.

I don't THINK this is sour grapes, but:

This transmission seems to be the answer to a question nobody asked. I'm thinking it might be one of those gee whiz gizmo's that you play with and first, and then hardly ever use again.

I once had a car with a heavy clutch and a stiff shifter and I would pray for an automatic transmission sometimes, but I've never had that feeling on any bike. A flick of the fingers and toe just isn't that much trouble.

It would be great for a couple of types of handicapped riders. But ......

You might as well go sit in a rock n chair on the front porch old man. They had one the news just before fall here in Indy and they said it was great for female riders. Wow, I never heard any uproar about that comment at all. I do think it would be a chance for a handicap rider to be able to get back out on the road. To each there own, thats why there are so many different type of bikes out there.

Yeah, you could get a driver and sit on the back if you wanted to avoid shifting! A limo bike!
