ya...i check my tire pressure often...so no worries there...
and i have a couple of different sprockets 43-45 in the back, a 15 and a 16 for the front, so i know the gearing...and its stock right now.

ive had finals for the past week, so ive been studying, and the only riding i've done has been commuting. i ran through the air filter, and its a little dirty, nothing that seems to be that bad, but i've ordered a new filter so that problem will be fixed soon. Fuel filter is all good too.

my commute to work now that i've graduated is almost 30 miles, so that'll be the real test. here where i am in florida right now, you can almost compare it to your winter rides in maine. its so hot (heat index of 120 today for example) that you only ride as long as you have to because of how much heat there is, especially when you're wearing pants, jacket, gloves, and a helmet.

F4i is an old indian word that means "DAMN, my FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR went out again!"

Proper running F4i will go 130-140 before light comes on.

Symptom:

Poor mileage
smell rich at idle
oil smell of fuel
oil level is strangely too high
severe case, when bike sits overnight, when you go to crank, the engine wont turn over.

To check the FPR,

Prop up the tank, and pull the small vacuum line off the FPR, it SHOULD be dry. If its wet with fuel, order a regulator.

I replaced mine about 6k miles ago, and looks like I'm about due for another one.
