I was wondering if there was any ram air kits out there for the 954. If not anyone done any of the work themselves. If so were did you route it

 

hmm i have also been thinking of this.. but there might be clearance problems..with the forks...and the diameter of the tubes to ram air.. Air.??
just be innovative. and cram on some bendy.. vaccum hoses. with 2 funnels but really big funnels. and duct tape them on . ..try it why not.. ..and see if you actually feel a differance going down the freeway....if you do...then start trying to make them look way better then duct taped funnels with bendy vaccum hoses.....
thats the hard part... unless you like the look of duct tape and big funnels and bendy vaccum hoses. :-)
i still ponder all the time about ram air... at least colder air then what it gets from the stock intake.
i always thought . how could i use the 2 outside lights as ram air ducts,>??????cut the glass make ducting .??? ugh so confusing

 

well, now that I have owned my blade for a while i have now had the plentiful time find some good ideas that honda should have thought up.

Functional Carbon Fiber Ram Air kit
Large flush mounted LED signals kit
High Speed Low Drag fairing kit

now all of this work needs to be custom, considering the small amount of already manufactured parts available.

I have done custom fab work before with CF and Aluminum and steel plastic you name it...

Any one who has a front upper fairing that has been damaged beyond repair

preferably the parts would be free ill pay for shipping and in return if i get enough orders once the prototypes are done you will get a related kit free!!!!

right now im going to start on the CF ram air and front end drag reducing high speed kit and work rearward from that.

any ideas critisism and general flaming is always appreciated. pictures will be posted as work is completed after of course the patents are submitted on the kits.

i want to make the kits easy as can be so any one can install them.

 

Thy did make a few ram air kits for them. Good luck finding one though. I would try something with the f4i parts maybe??

 

How much are you going to gain, realistically, by trying this? Honda spent some good money engineering these things. If they thought it would be beneficial they probably would have done it? Just my opinion.
