Default Power Commander

I just ordered my power commander and installed the software. I see the downloadable maps for my exact hardware, k&n filter and Micron Serpent system.
I expect this will just upload to the bike and all will be well. Is there any thing Im missing here, elevation, fuel type, anything?

I see you're in CO so the elevation question is a good one. The map you're looking at is specific to mods but generic for altitude and temp. For the best results you should get a custom map done. In reality only maybe 1% of people with a PC get a custom map so don't feel bad if you don't get one. Try contacting the gear heads at the power commander website and see what they recommend for changing the values for your elevation. They've been helpful to me in the past.

Well I got the PC in the mail yesterday, Hung it in and uploaded the calibration map for the hardware I have and wow what a difference. Smooth as silk no more studering at WOT in high gears. Even at 5000 feet in alt worked great. Ill need to goto Denver for a custom map so till summer Im good. Damn passes get scarry in a car screw that on a bike.
