just scored a Corbin seat for my '02 CBR on E-bay so things are looking up!!

Did you get the one that on there for like 189? I was thinking about it hard but decided I want a Sargent seat instead. Let us know how it is. I researched them and they raise the rider up slightly in the front near the tank and that's what was really keeping me from buying it.

Yes - on e-bay.

I should receive it on Friday or Saturday and will take a spin and let you know how it feels.

I have had Corbins on two other bikes and liked it each time. I think its because they are very firm to sit on so the weight is spread out and the seat doesn't "grab" at your butt like a softer seat does.

But motorcycle seat comfort is very subjected - one man's dream is another man's torture rack.

IMHO I find the seat quite good.
If you wear anything with seams in the back they will hurt after a while. So if you have a pair of jeans on, the back pockets will begin to dig in. The same applies for the undies, get a pair of elastic boxer shorts with NO seams. Your leathers should have no seams.
If that doesn't work blame the seat.
