Default Okay, the stock 954 is posterior unfriendly

Put 1,000 miles on the bike Memorial Day weekend and that seat has got to go. Time for a Corbin or Sargent. Why does everything have to be so expensive? Why doesn't the 954rr come with a steering damper and a decent seat? Why doesn't gold coin fly out of my ***?

Edit: Mods, please put "seat" after "954."

Yeah the 954 should have come with a steering damper from the factory and the seat leaves a little to be desired.....but this thing friggin' hauls lol. From what I hear the Corbin seats are actualy quite hard. And I haven't found a Sargent seat yet...but I have looked very hard either. Not like I have that kind of cash flow right now lol

Yeah, a seat is pretty small complaint, but the hauling *** factor starts to lose importance after a couple hundred miles. The mind begins to wander from, "Man, I'm hauling ***," to, "Man, my ***."

You can get with your local upholstry shop. They can usually add memory foam for around 150. Another shop told me around the same price to add a gel insert. That includes shaving the factory seat and building it up with the foam or gel.

I found my Sargent seat on Ebay in like new condition. It seems hard at first but after a long day of riding it feels much better than the stock seat. It was well worth the cost.

Sargent seat also, easily do 500+ miles in a day with no issues. Found it on eBay for less than $200.

Problem for me is I have to ride an hour just to get to a place where I can attempt to ride it in a proper manner.
