Some foam and a little duct tape? Might work.

Why can't I add memory foam to my own seat? I have a heavy duty staple gun and I can get a memory foam pillow from walmart for $9.

What am I missing?

Nothing. You can do it yourself.

What is the problem? Should be a complete replacement for your existing seat. I had a Corbin for my old Yamaha FZR600 and I literally removed the old OEM seat and put on the Corbin...done deal.

there should be a bolt under the seat on both sides. Use an allen wrench to take it out and put them back in once you removed the old seat and installed the new one. dont forget righty tighty lefty loosie!

Exactly. Now that I have a 954RR (and replaced the battery on the first day of ownership), it's as easy as Roast just mentioned. Two allen bolts, one on each side of the seat, and you have to gently pull up on the edges to access them fully. Good luck!
