Default oil drain plug

as much as it kills to me even post this, at this point i have to.. after an hour of trying to figure out where the hell the drain plug bolt is i gave up!

i can't for the life of me figure it out and the picture in the manual is not too clear so i can't decipher what its next to.. i even tried matching up the 12mm wrench to whatever fit and the only that did didn't seem to be it (based on the location- next to the kickstand).

i tried other google searches and searches within the forum, i just cant seem to find it.. sorry for wasting your time with such simple things... but thank you in advance...

Next time take a minute to look down the threads. On the first page under 954 is a "How to change oil" thread.

sorry if its being repetitive or if this topic has been beaten to death but i can't find anything specific to how to locate the drain bolt..

Here it is, Underneath and at the back. 12mm socket does the trick.

Did you remove the right or left fairing? You should be looking from the right side of your bike. The drain plug is almost directly below the oil check window at the very back/bottom of the oil pan.
