Hi everyone, this is my first post, I live in Louisville, KY. I just bought an '02 954 about a week ago, I've only rode it 2 times, but I like it so far! It's quicker than my old R6 for sure. I am actually gonna post some pictures of it when I bought it, and how it is now, then in about a week or so I should have a new finished paint job to update.

The bike runs yes there was really nothing wrong with it when I bought it I just want to get fresh paint on it and do a couple custom mods to it. =)

Paint before mods or mods before paint. Anything crazy?

 

I am doing the paint first, I havent decided what else I'm going to put on it yet, it should be done very soon hopefully. I know im getting a PC3USB when I get it back and getting it mapped, I also have the solo seat cowl getting painted. I might do a couple custom things to it as well. I will keep it updated with pics and all that.

I talked to the guy painting my bike and it should be done in a few days he says, there was a big delay because the guys wife had a heart attack and he wasnt working on it for a couple weeks, but he said tomorrow is his goal to have it back to me. We will see what happens, but I will take pics of the plastics before I put them on then after I put them on and during the process.
