try and post larger more detailed pictures, but that is a good start. The forks look pretty crooked, and that would make the rotors contact the pads at an angle & cause the binding. I would suggest you start disassembling the front end, remove the calipers, front wheel, rotors, and see how it goes from there. Not much else I can suggest at this point.

make sure teh bike is cold so all oil has pooled in the pan, tip the bike up straight so you get an accurate reading, and look at the sight glass on the lower right side of the engine.

As for the temperature, it will differ if the bike is stationary or in motion. The fan should kick in around 216`F, and you shouldn't let the bike get hotter than 225+
180+ is the normal operating temperature at speed.

If you have temp problems, you could try running a mixture of Engine Ice

Water Wetter is also a quality product.

Hi,
I put my bike on rear stand, and i tried to read sight engine glass i don't see any thing. Is that mean it is complitly emghty or too full?? Should i add some engine oil into it to avoid enging damage in case of lack of oil.

whoa, if you're seeing nothing, I'm betting you have a pretty big problem. Too full & you would see nothing but oil, if it is clear glass you've got a major problem. Hopefully you didn't do any damage from running her too low?[sm=smiley11.gif]

Hi,
You scared me to death man. Oil was dirty and too full that is why i coudent't see anything but dirty black oil. i think she is ok. i decided to change my steering steem becouse i opened the front wheel. I inspected bearings and axle they are all healthy and in a good condition. So i thought it could be from steering stem. I bought a new stem. My question is it hard to change the steering stem i have some mechanical skills. Is tehre any thing specific that i need to know.
Thank you
Farokh

Sorry man, didn't mean to freak you out.
Steering stem isn't too tough. Just disassemble the tree, follow the manual, and torque everything down to the proper settings. Inspect the head bearings for wear, repack with grease if necessary, (or replace if they are getting real worn) an put her back together. I'd bet though, that the steering stem wouldn't break before the headstock would. I think you might be buying parts you might not necessarily need.

forums are good sources of information, but major rebuilds can't really be done too well through the net. You need to find a buddy who is local to give you a hand.

I am having some of the same problems. (Left clipon slightly more forward than the right.) Everything appears to be straight, but I still can't get it to align. What is the best (easiest) way to check the steering stem and forks to make sure they aren't bent? Also if you find your problem let us know, may fix mind too.

Hi,
I got my bike fixed and it looks brand new, because I changed every thing. Can you tell me how I can set the time in my indicator? It has reset after I opened it and I don't know how to set it back
Thanks
