you might be able to unplug the BAS without taking the front end apart if you can get to the plug. If not, its not really that hard, just take off mirros, and the two bolts by the headlight and unbolt from the side fairings and unplug the wires and pull it out carefully, have someone around to help move wires and the innerfariings around while your removing it. colud you take a pic of the three prong fuse your talking about, i think you talking about the wire that mounts to the starter realy but im not sure.

when i put a voltmeter to the cable that connects to the fuel pump cable i am getting power about 10.6 that dosn't change when i turn the key is this normaly or should it be battery voltage for just 30 secs when i turn the key?
if it dosnt get battery voltage when i turn the key and just reads 10.6 is what could this be telling me?

ill check mine tmr but i think when you turn the key its supposed to power for a few seconds and it should be around 12v and then cut out till you start it. and is that you in your sig? if so get some gear squid.

3 wires in the plug....1 wire is for the pump, 1 wire is for the reserve fuel sensor, and the other wire is the ground........=-)

You can just plug it in, but i would pull the hot side of the battery OFF first. This way the battery will reset the ECU when u hook the hot back to the battery....Also there is a factory reset plug on the bike. Should be close to the battery under the seat. I forget the directions, but u use a jumper wire to jump the 2 wires in the plug. And then u cycle ur ignition while ur doing so......Maybe need to research that to make sure. But im sure its very simple if u do it either way...=-)
