Thank you Dazed. Do you know if there is anything I can do do to the bike or exhaust to make it louder? I might sell it, and order a pre cut two brothers exhaust from the factory. Anyone know anyone who wants to buy an rs-3 exhaust that's been used for a week?

cut it down yourself.... lots of people on the forum, myself included have done that. all you'll need to do is drill out the rivets, pop the end cap off. cut off as much as you want, re-rivet the end cap back on

I think that is what I am going to end up doing. I just hope that I don't mess it up, I did just buy the exhaust and I would be very angry at myself if I screwed it up. Can anyone tell me what size rivets I am going to need?

Loud isn't always better that exhaust puts out a super clean note i'm sure when you get on it, even when not on it. Super loud exhaust can just be annoying and sound bad. The exhaust you have is great. please don't chop it or do anything to it... seriously it's a super sport bike people know it's fast it doesn't have to be overly loud. Yoshi's sound amazing and it looks great on that bike. Do not switch the exhaust or try to make it louder please!

or you can chop it, keep some of the baffles in and it'll sound even BETTER.... and it'll look WAY better (stock pipes are ginormous)
you won't mess up. you can get stainless steel or aluminum rivets, i went with aluminum. i think they were either a 1/16 or 3/16 in. - just slide a drill bit in the hole that you drill out to get your size.
and in actuality, even if your cut on the can isn't exactly even, its okay so long as the holes you drill for the rivets line up on the end cap with nothing exposed.
