Default Looking at a 02 954...

I am currently debating wether to trade my modified impreza RS (wrx motor swap and a whole bunch of other stuff) for either an 07 R1 or an 02 954rr. How much would you say an 02 954 with 1,500 miles is worth? no performance mods, just fender eliminator and sliders.

kbb is $3900, but with that low mileage I'd give up to $5k. had mine for 1 week, love it, wouldn't trade it for anything (maybe a lambo but that'll never happen).

+1 on this evaluation of motorcycle value, obviously the cheaper you get it for the better.

Holy **** the bike has 1500 miles? That things like new off the show room floor do you have pictures of it? Why wasn't it ran by the previous owner I would give 5+K for the bike if it's all in mint condition with those miles

I only have a couple of pics on my phone, but can't get them up right now.
It looks like it's been garaged and everything, perfect as a bike could be. He is coming
To look at my car and bringing the bike today. I'll keep you posted.
And the reason it has such low mileage is cause the first owner was a Marine who never had time to ride. The guy who owns it now has only owned it a couple months and doesn't have time to ride with work and school.

This bike will become a collectable before long at the rate they are being trashed. Only made 2 years and they will never make the bike that way again. So, I say get it and ride it, but do take care of it and it will be worth more later down the road...although why you would want to part with it is beyond me. I won't part with mine until I've gone to the next life.

I got the bike! However, when he arrived with it and I started to look it over, I noticed more than just the one scratch, and a few other minor things. I took it for a ride, and I fell in love! The weight and how it handles is amazing. I was able to get the bike and 1500 cash on top for the car. I am trying to figure out if the sprockets are stock, and I don't think they are. Does anyone else's bike lift up the front by hammering the throttle at 10mph in first? The 07 R1 I was riding sure didn't...

It has a alot of horsepower I would imagine most do if you drop the hammer in first, maybe not though I dont try to due wheelies if im gonna accel. quick I try to shift weight forward to keep the tire down.

Our Bikes will lift the front end in first and 2nd if you pin the throttle with stock sprockets. How do you like the ride compared to the r1? Show us some pictures.

I will upload pics when I get back to my apartment. It is way more comfortable to ride than the r1, I think I just need to get a steering damper, I don't like how it feels now.
