was the 2003 wrecked? pics would help. Id say less money and less miles is a easy winner. Get a DB windscreen and ride out.

I wouldn't think twice about that bike. You are in for a treat, that's for sure. good luck. I came over from a 96 ZX-6E Kawi. that's A ball. This thing is at least AAA, probably AAAA. Better than AAA but not an everyday big leaguer. IDK, I've never ridden anything newer. All it took was one test ride for me. I traded a 79 vette that wouldn't start and had a rotted/rusted frame. He had to get a tow truck! LOL

imagine the TL1000 mid range and imagine that midrange got better towards the top end. now imagine that engine in the 750 gsrx frame and you have the 954

unless im missing something, i dont see the competition between them. newer bike+less miles+more upgrades = winner....

Unless you dont like the mods that are done. I actually just bought a zx10r and i scoured all over the place to find one that was unmodded. I like to all my touches to it, not someone elses.

Go with the one you like the most. The one year newer or extra couple thousand miles wont make any difference to be honest. So price being the same get the one that moves you.
