if thats a real erion 954... not at all... the motor is probably worth the starting bid. its stroked, custom forged pistons (which i actually got a set from a mechanic on his team when jake zemke rode it), custom rods, i can't even imagine the head work that's been done to it, custom stator, HRC ECU. and that's just motor side. custom airbox with carbon fiber air intake.

all the guy says it has done to it is head work though.... and the racing erions were putting out much more power - close to 195hp with the 954s in FX.


but it has full ohlins suspension - that's worth quite the pretty penny.


and i'm sure its quite a bit lighter than any of our 954's. it definitely has lightweight rims. and i'm kind of puzzled why he's missing the lines and master cylinder...

i'd think a real erion racing bike wouldn't ever be up for consideration as a parts bike (i saw one a few years back on ebay, and they wanted a WHOLE lot more than that for it). and the owner doesn't seem to know all that much about it or at least, he didn't put a whole lot of info on it on the listing.

i'm sure badS1 knows more about all the bikes and their classes / rules than i do.

 

Hate to say it boys but I think thats the real deal. That was one of Zemke's bikes. Swingarm is a HRC unit. The one picture you'll see the front caliper.... so he does have them just not mounted. HP is about right. 170 at the tire. Remember your going back almost 9 years. That was serious HP. I'd love to have this piece. The wife would kill me.

 

and thats worth another lil pretty penny, so i think the starting bid isn't too high at all.
