Does anybody know a good source for parts for the 954? I tried E-Bay, but am not getting a good vibe. Same with Craig's List.

You're in luck, I have a set of fairings excluding the tank. Plastics only. Ill get them to you for a fraction of what you would pay piece by piece. They will need to be repainted though. PM me for more info.

 

That's nice, but I'm looking for a ready-to-mount fairing. Preferably the original dark grey scheme.

Yes, they do and it could be shipped right away for $20, without sales tax for outside the state sale. The person on the phone, Joe, was very friendly too.

The part in question is the subframe. The price is a hair above a subframe I found on eBay. Without sales taxes and cheap shipping, it comes to the same. I'm waiting for confirmation a 929 subframe can be used on the 954. I don't think so, but found lots of 929 subframes for 1/4 of the price.

By Monday I'll purchase one or the other and move on with the project. The next part is an odometer. Does anybody know of a cool aftermarket odometer for the 954?
