In my experience dealing with painters $1300-$1600 depend where you live. Make sure you get a list of what there going to do, (ex. sanding, # of coats, what there going to paint) so there's no miscommunication. If you want a special paint or two different colors most will just charge you extra for the paint cost.

 

as far as taking the whole bike vs. just the parts is depends on the job as well if you want like 2 tone or anything extravagant they have to have the parts on the bike to make sure everything lines up.
