is there damage to the fairings ?
will you be doing the prep work?
do you know the painter?

It also depends on your color choice, whether you add flake or not. I had my bike repainted and repair done after i had wrecked it and paid about 500 dollars. I also knew the painter so i got a good deal. Most people will charge more but you can save money by doing some prep work.

 

What kind of prep work?

 

sanding down the plastics, removing old paint and decals, patch up damage. Pretty much prepare the plastics to be painted to the painter doesnt have to put in the time and charge you for it.

I did a HUGENORMOUS rookie today, and pushed my bike from the left, and it got a little off balance, and tipped over on my driveway. Got about 4 separate and different mars where they paint is gone. It's only on the cowl (sp) so how much would I be looking for a full repaint?
