Default How doe's one remove, the stopper ring and preload adjuster ?

Need some help, my bruthas
I can aready get the cap off and poured out the oil, that's fine, it's the stopper ring and preload adjuster. Just sitting here staring at the thing, wondering which sledge hammer to use on it..
Per the manual...
I just want to be sure, so I don't muscling the thing off and bunging it up...

Stopper Ring and Preload Adjuster...
Not to be confused with the handlebar stop ring.

It ended up being very easy..
I made my own driver and polished my fork leg with 800-1000 wet/dry sandpaper...No leaks yet at 80 miles. We shall see..
I'll try to make a video this weekend, when I do the right fork...

To remove the lock nut, which in turn allows you to remove the spring and spring collar.

You're right, you don't really have to but it's the only way to measure the fork spring and examine the the fork damper, plus drain the oil...
