Hey guys,

Just took all the fairings off the bike to get painted. I noticed that the headlight doesn't bolt up at all without the front fairing. Anyone have a solution to this so i can keep riding the last few weeks of summer? Other than zip ties?

 

actually the only thing ur gonna be able to do is fabricate somethin to hold ur headlight on there but besides that ur front fairing holds the headlight. zipties will work! nothin wrong wit zipties!

 

Zip ties its! haha. Can't handle not riding on these beautiful days!

This is good to know. I am getting ready to have mine painted. Do not worry guys it is going to be a gray and I will be putting on the factory stickers. I laid it down and it is going to be much cheeper to have my buddy fix and shoot the bike rather that buying new skins. I guess I could just ride thegoldwing.

 

Why do you want to ride around with out the fairings in the first place????

 

Well if i had the choice of course i wouldnt. But i have to get them painted.

 

The bike won't be street legal if you take the headlight off.

 

Zipties worked like a charm. Bike looks bad *** with no fairings!
