Headlight bolt
i finished painting the fairings and i put the front on and there is a 2inch gap on the point between the headlights. from the back it looks like there would be a bolt there but i don't have one. i can live with the gap if thats how its supposed to be but if not i need to know what it's called.
thanks
thanks
Two inches is a LOT to be off. There is no bolt holding the fairing in that area. I'd check to make sure there is nothing back there, and even that your fairing is correctly aligned in the first place.
I have thought my front cowl was aligned before and it wasn't in the proper bracket.
I believe there are 5 screw/bolts holding the headlight to the front fairing (one on each corner and one in the upper middle I think)
Yea I've been really busy with work so haven't had a lot of time to research that's y I'm responding so many days later. I'm sure the fairing is mounted correctly I'm not certain that the light itself is after looking at it further... The problem is I bought it from the first owner who dropped it and put ****ty aftermarket fairings on.. But only the front and a single seat rear cowl. The rear is fine but the front sucked so I bought delkelvic 10 piece kit. I'm happy about the price but not so much about the fitment thats the reason behind my first question. I'll have to look up a diagram of how the front headlight should be mounted because mine has some up and down play that irritates me going down the highway. But when I get it fixed and back together I'll post pics of my beautiful 50 dollar spray paint job lol. Thanks
