Default Getting a better sound out of a yoshi bolt on

Hey guys,

Question for you wise fellows, will shortening my bolt on make it louder?

I have heard there is a silencer you can remove or something.

I put my new bolt on today and honestly hardly notinced the sound change, maybe a lil bit deeper.

I want to shorten it but the guy at the exhaust shop i went to isnt sure how to do it and thinks because it tapers inside i shouldnt do it.

Cheers

I think you have to repack the inside of the exhaust.

You can probably shorten it. The taper he is talking about is on the mid pipe, not the muffler.
