Front Fork Seal Replacement

I have an 02 954rr and I need to replace the front fork seals, but I've never done a project this mechanically in depth before. Is it something I want to get myself into? A local shop will do it for around $200 if I bring them just the forks. Suggestions?

my left seal on the front is leaking i must repair both
