Default Fast idle adjustment?

Hi all, I only bought the bike a few months ago, but have noticed the idle on start up is around 3500rpm! seems high to me, am I wrong?
or can it be adjusted down? after the first minute or two it settles at about 1100-1200 rpm no worries.
cheers for any replies....

You can adjust you linkage on the wax unit to lower your cold setting. Keep in mind that it pulls the idle down as the wax heats up.

Your setting is way too high, but "Hey it's an easy fix; Inside the right fairing just above the stator cover you'll see a small black **** on a cable end, anti clock turns will wind down the RPM's So when cold the idle should be 1750 RPM's & when at temp it should be at about 1000 RPM's, ( your best bet is to set the idle at 1000RPM's when the engine is already at operating temp) also note this bike has this wax idle system which is a fuel injection type of choke to the engine when cold, & being a wax system once the engine gets up to operating temp the wax in this system melts & lets this hi tec FI choke off bringing the RPM's to normal 1000 when at operating temp.
