UMM... Steering damper? Kind of a must, didnt think i needed 1 but now my bike says scotts on it

Default overheating 02' 954rr

my bike runs at 200 normally and can get up to 230 in no time in traffic.I took to a honda dealer and they said it was fine!!!???Does anybody have a sugestion?

Mine runs @ 180 so far, and the highest I have noticed is maybe 218-220, enough to kick the fan on.

fan should come on at 215,
the 04-05 1000rr wheels will work using the 954 spacers...
manual cam chain tensioner.

Fan's only been on once since I got it in oct. Other than that, the highest I have seen is 214, parked after a ride, and waiting to be moved into the storage unit. I remember that because I had worried that the heat would melt the TV the bike sits next to. LOL
