Default Exhaust cone

Hey I just took off my factory exhaust and there is a cone on the end. My question is has anybody cut it off and if so do you getting anything out of it.

Depending on the type of slip on, you will need to cut the cone off. Especially with the Jardine slip onss. I guess to reduce a small portion of weight would be the only benefit.

No difference. Your best bet is to chop the stock pipe. If you want it loud, then gut the stock pipe. Are you looking for a loud sound? You could make an exhaust like Conrice's streetfighter 54.

The spark arrestor screen does not affect performance.

I had to cut off my cone when I installed a Two Brothers slip on muffler. It sounds awesome now.
