Has anyone cut off the cone on the mid pipe when they installed a bolt on? If so did it change the sound? I have a scorpion GP titanium oval and the cone fits in I was just wondering if I cut the cone off would it sound better?

 

might be a little deeper sound, but if it fits over the cone, I would leave it. No performance gains for removing it, and it is required to remove it for some bolt-ons (eg. 2 Bros)

Try it with and without the cone, and report back your findings.
