Do you have a harbor freight store near you? Check out the link below. This torque wrench is what you need.

Also I don't have the special holding tool to tighten the lock nut back down on the clutch so is there anything else I can use? The special tool is wayyy to expensive.
ya... you could do that... but remember... 7lbs is almost nothing. my father in law who helped me... he tightend them down with a speedy wrench and i'd come right behind him with the torque wrench... most of the ones he did were already past 10lbs.

as far as the holding nut if i remember correctly, i think i just used an air wrench

Okay thanks for all your input guys, I think I'm just gonna kinda get them hand tight and then go with the torqe wrench, b/c 7 lbs isn't much at all. And you said you just used an impact gun on the lock nut, did you have anything to hold it with so it didn't spin? I'm gonna start putting it back togeather tomorrow

nope, i didn't have anything holding it if i remember correctly, just the hand over the friction plates for added support, plus a drop of loctite (even though its a lock nut). the father in law has a slightly modded 3/8's drive impact driver that did the trick. it says a torque value of 96 lbs /ft. or something like that. so imo, if you have a good air compressor and air wrench, you should be good to go. but we did not have a special tool or anything special to hold it .

Okay engine is in the bike throttle bodies, air box, tank, seat alternator, and everything torqed. I have left is the clutch, and exhaust. All I have handy in my garage is a 24volt impact would this work if I put some thread locker on there with it, or do you thing it would'nt be enough. second question, when I put the stretch bolts in and torqed them to 14lbs then it said an additional 150 degrees, and 150 degrees worried me b/c thats a hell of alot more torqe then 14 lbs on those, is that right? And final question is I took the brak light switch off the right assembly and con't figure out how it goes back on for the life of me is there any way someone could take a pic of their brake switch for the rear brakes so I can see how it goes on there? PLZZZZZ l0l thanx Guys!
