Looking to possibly buy a blade with what the current owner describes as a small ding in the tank (near the honda badge), now i have had dings in car doors took out by those guys with all the funny long tools where they seem to manipulate and hammer out the ding without painting the panel etc.

Has anybody had this done on a bike though ? And if not do you guys think it could be done given where it is on the tank (ie close to the opening of the petrol cap).

If it is small its probably not a big deal. I wouldn't stress it.The tank is a lot thicker than a door skin, but it could be worth a try. The bike could have been dropped previously so check over the whole bike.
