Found ding in front rim, should I worry?
I'm in the process of doing some upgrades before riding season starts again (frame sliders, heavier fork springs), and when I took off the front wheel, I happened to notice the rim is pushed in slightly on the left side only. I've had the bike since June of 08', and put on about 3000 miles after I got it. It only had 1200 miles on it,when I got it. Thinking maybe the PO hit a pothole or something, combined with low tire pressure( tires were at 12psi when I got it home.)
Have zero problems with vibration or anything with the front end. Should I just try to forget that its even there?

I had the same thing happen to my bike. I hit a pothole on the way to work one night and notice a small ding in the rim the next day. I actually waited about 2 months before getting it fixed. I waited until i needed a new tire put on, and while the mechanic was installing the tire he bent it back into shape. Just keep a eye on the tire pressure.
