Lightbulb cosmetic improvments

Alrighty 954ers’ its cold out and its time for improvements on my bike. I have already had the expensive stuff done, steering damper, tires, chain, and sprocket. Now I was thinking about the low-buget side of things like frame sliders, bar ends, brake and clutch levers, tinted wind shield.. ect. And one of those things that I have seen and never done is in our vents on the side cowls I have seen some ppl paint what looks to be wire mesh and put it into the vent area where our motor mounts cant really be seen and it looks pretty cool to. 2 part question where can you get the “mesh” I am referring to and what is the best way to install set “mesh”

My bike has the wire mesh you are talking about. They were on it when I bought the bike. I doubt these were made by the previous owner as they are bent perfect to match the fairing shape. I plan on taking them off and painting them black and cutting holes to install frame sliders soon. They are installed with some kind of black glue. Looks like a small amount was applied to the fairing then after pressing the mesh against it a little more applied to the back to hold them in place. I will post some pics of the inside of the fairings later this week when I have time to take them off.

You could always try black silicon, I used it to hold on my neon kit and it works great.

Mine has them. It was there when I bought it. It looks like epoxy.

I think it is just spray painted mesh from any hardware store. Cut and shaped.
