clogged fuel injector

that sucks, you should be able to find some fuel rails/injectors or something on fleabay for pretty cheap.
i've never gotten one unclogged succesfully, but i did try by hookin' up an injector to 12v and squirtin a mix of gas/seafoam into it. it was from an isuzu rodeo and it had been sitting in an open yard for over 2 yrs - so i don't think there was much hope for it - but you could try that.
you should be able to get something on fleabay for 20-30 bucks though if you wait til the right auction comes along

How did you determine it is clogged while on the bike?
I was pulling my injector connections to check for corrosion and one of mine isn't like the other three. It doesn't have the same type of clip to release it and I couldn't get it to come off. Anyone have any insight into this? I should have taken a picture of it.

#3 not firing, chk'd by getting it to operational temp and spraying header tube with water, pulled inj. last night but, can't tell if clogged by eye sight...Chk'd fuel pressure reg. and it's not leaking fuel. Getting ready to try something else before ordering new inj. ..........All my connectors are the same on my inj.'s don't know what to tell you about that....

Well I assumed it was an inj. because it was running find when I put it back under the cover and when I fired it back up three weeks later it was running on 3 cyl.'s.. Had to think back when I did this and realized what I did was my fault....Being in a hurry....Ended up being a fouled #3 plug...... Thks for the input guys...

I have unclocgged one on an f4i. I used a can of carb cleaner with the red straw hose clamped to a short piece of vacuum hose, and then a short fuel hose over that and the injector. I used a 12v battery to open and close the injector. I also flowed the Carb cleaner backward through the injector as well as forward. It worked great and only took about 10 minutes.
