Im about to change my break pad on my bike, do i have to do anything special to the rotors before installing new pads. or can i just clean them with sos pad. any info would help. thanks

 

Are the rotors warped? I don't see any reason why you should have to do anything to them unless they are destroyed. I've never used a sos or any type of cleaning pad on my rotors when doing my brakes. Just make sure to clean and lubricate all moving parts as if you were doing you car brakes.
