best rear spocket size
Whats the best number of teeth for the rear, I dont care about doing wheelies and I dont want 1st gear to be so short that its unrideable. I just want to "pep" up the power band a bit. +2 +3 ? will there be a need for a new chain with this setup?
If thats all you want save yourself a lot of cash and just go -1 in the front, thats the same as +2.5 in the rear.A rear sprocket will cost ya 70 bucks or so, a front is about 25. Also with doing the front you definatly will not need a new chain.
i just did an f4i stock rear on my 954 stock f4i is 46 t 525 chain and 954 is 43 530 chain so i need a new chain but it a stock steel honda rear sprocket so it will last for ever and you can get them all day on ebay for real cheep bolts right up to your 954 hub
