Ok just took my first ride on my new 954. It was awesome. Made me mad I waited so long to buy another bike. However. When I went to lock the front forks with the ignition lock it didnt work. I had the front forks tuned all the way to the left and put the key in the lock position. It didnt work that is the way my other bikes ignition locked. I dont have an owners manual so pardon the relativly basic question. Any help would be appreciated

 

It works same as other bikes ... you said it was in lock position so I'm sure you did but just to make sure, did you push the key down so it would turn all the way back? other than that only thing I can think of is wheel wasn't turned as far as you thought it was [sm=smiley23.gif]

 

I believe I did have everything the way it should be but I will definetly double check. I dont suppose there is a downloadable owners manual any where that anyone knows about.......

One thing I noticed is the 95 requires the bars to be a little more 'turned' to allow you to lock the ignition compared to many. You notice these things when you own multiple bikes. I first thought something was wrong with it at first. I pulled the bar a little closer to the tank, and the ignition worked fine.
